daisy the dog

One of my favorite subjects is Daisy, the family dog, a Welch Corgi. Daisy in Red is the scene that started the Daisy series of paintings. Daisy is mischievous little Welch Corgi that cannot resist sometimes challenging the rules. As a Corgi, she is naturally a herding dog. She likes to herd the children (and protect them), and she likes to herd her parents sometimes. She is smart and aware of everything around her. That is what makes her a fun subject. Most of these paintings are available in limited edition Giclée reproductions, signed and numbered by the artist, and as greeting cards.

northern lights

Northern Lights paintings were created with iridescent watercolors on acrylic backgrounds. When viewed from different angles the light refraction varies giving these paintings unique and changing visual qualities. The unique presentation of these paintings makes them impossible to reproduce as Giclée prints, but they are available as photographic prints on metallic paper. The images are also available on greeting cards, without the iridescent effects.

celestial visions

Space is vast and mysterious. These images of supernovae were created using iridescent watercolors on acrylic backgrounds. When viewed from different angles the light refraction varies giving these paintings unique and changing visual qualities. The unique presentation of these paintings makes them impossible to reproduce as Giclée prints, but they are available as photographic prints on metallic paper. The images are also available on greeting cards, without the iridescent effects.

friends & flowers

Most friends are kids and animals. Flowers range from those in my garden to images I run across on walks and drives. Most are watercolors, although some are in mixed media. The images are also available Giclée reproductions, signed and numbered by the artist, and as greeting cards.
