One of my favorite subjects is Daisy, the family dog, a Welch Corgi. Daisy in Red is the scene that started the Daisy series of paintings. Daisy is mischievous little Welch Corgi that cannot resist sometimes challenging the rules. As a Corgi, she is naturally a herding dog. She likes to herd the children (and protect them), and she likes to herd her parents sometimes. She is smart and aware of everything around her. That is what makes her a fun subject.
